

If you have the 64-bit version and an older 32-bit ODBC driver, this may cause Excel to crash. If you have version 15.25 or later, you have the 64-bit version. To check whether you have this update, click About Excel on the Excel menu. However, in August 2016, the software was updated to 64-bit. In September 2015, Excel 2016 for Mac was originally released as 32-bit software. For information about how to remove and install the drivers, contact the driver manufacturer or supplier. To resolve this issue, remove the 32-bit driver, and then install a new 64-bit driver.
